Nathan Lane marries long-time partner Devlin Elliott
Nathan Lane and Devlin Elliott, pictured at the opening party of ‘Catch Me If You Can’ in April 2011, are now married.
Broadway and big screen veteran Nathan Lane is embracing his newest role — as a married man.
The 59-year-old actor quietly wed his partner of 18 years, playwright Devlin Elliott, 43, on Tuesday.
“Nathan and Devlin were married in a small ceremony in New York City this week. Everyone is extremely happy,” Lane’s publicist said in a statement to People.
Lane had first publicly announced his marriage during a Wednesday night panel at the 92nd Street Y hosted by Joy Behar while promoting his new children’s book, “Naughty Mabel.”
That book, co-authored with Elliott, is the first in a series based on the couple’s real-life French bulldog, Mabel.
Lane will next be seen in FX’s “American Crime Story” anthology series, playing famed defense attorney F. Lee Bailey in the first season, which focuses on the O.J. Simpson trial.
