Miranda Lambert breaks silence on divorce from Blake Shelton
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced in July that they would end their four-year marriage.
Country darling Miranda Lambert is hard at work mending “Mama’s Broken Heart.”
The newly single singer intimated that she’s still reeling from her divorce from Blake Shelton in an upcoming cover story for Cosmopolitan magazine, her first time opening up since she and Shelton announced in July that they would end their four-year marriage.
“Some of (my next steps) might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, ‘Man, this sucks right now,’” Lambert told the magazine, via Entertainment Tonight.

Despite the tough road ahead, the 32-year-old “Little Red Wagon” singer didn’t seem to harbor any ill will toward her country singer ex.
“I had a great relationship with an amazing man, so I know what good is,” she said. “I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted.”
“Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try,” she added.
Lambert isn’t quite ready to dive back into dating, she added, and wants to focus on living life to the fullest.
A source close to the singer recently told E! News that she “has not given up on love” and can’t wait to have kids someday.
“Some of (my next steps) might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, ‘Man, this sucks right now,'” Lambert told Cosmopolitan.
Shelton, on the other hand, quickly moved on to a romance with his “Voice” co-star Gwen Stefani, herself fresh off a split from her husband, Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale.
Stefani and Shelton, who had been rumored for weeks to be dating, finally confirmed their new couple status earlier this month.
