Jesse Tyler Ferguson to play 40 roles in ‘Fully Committed'
Jesse Tyler Ferguson will return to Broadway this spring to star in the revival of “Fully Committed.”

The “Modern Family” star has signed on to play the more than 40 characters in Becky Mode’s restaurant industry comedy, which will be revived this spring.

The play marks the five-time Emmy nominee’s return to Broadway, where he is best known for creating the role of Leaf Coneybear in Rachel Sheinkin and William Finn’s Tony-Award-winning musical “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.”
“Fully Committed” will be directed by Jason Moore (“Pitch Perfect,” “Avenue Q” and the upcoming film, “Sisters”).
The original performance of “Fully Committed” starred Mark Setlock as a harried reservations clerk — and all his would-be customers.

Mode is said to be updating her 2000 play to “reflect today’s foodie and restaurant culture.”
The 16-week engagement begins in previews on April 2 at the Lyceum Theatre.
